The Osprey Talon™ 22 is an agile and comfortable daypack designed for active individuals who prioritize lightweight performance and a close-to-body fit during hiking, cycling, and other fast-paced outdoor activities. Its innovative AirScape backpanel and seamless body wrap ensure breathability and stability, making it an ideal companion for dynamic movement. While incredibly versatile, its 22-liter capacity is best suited for day trips rather than extended adventures requiring extensive gear.

'AirScape' refers to Osprey's innovative backpanel system. It uses an injection-molded, die-cut foam covered with mesh to provide a stable, breathable, and close-to-body fit that minimizes contact points while maximizing airflow.
The Talon™ 22 is made from 100D x 210D Bluesign Recycled Robic Nylon, which offers good water resistance. It will protect against light rain or splashes, but it is not fully waterproof. For heavy rain or prolonged exposure to wet conditions, we recommend using a separate rain cover (sold separately).
The 'Stow-on-the-Go' system allows you to quickly stash your trekking poles without removing your pack. Simply slide the shaft of your poles through the elastic loop on the lower left side of the pack, and then secure the grips under the elastic loop on the left shoulder strap.
While the main compartment is spacious, the Talon™ 22 does not feature a dedicated padded laptop sleeve. A smaller laptop or tablet might fit, but it would not be securely suspended or protected from bumps. The pack is primarily designed for outdoor gear.
This refers to the fabric used in the pack. 'Bluesign' is a standard for environmentally friendly and safe production practices. 'Recycled Robic Nylon' indicates that the durable and abrasion-resistant nylon fabric is made from recycled materials, contributing to sustainability.
Info needed: Please refer to Osprey's official website or your retailer for specific warranty details, as terms can vary by region and product.
Ensure the torso length is correctly adjusted for your body. Check that the hipbelt is snug and resting on your hip bones, not your waist. Tighten shoulder straps and sternum strap for a close-to-body fit.
Utilize the dedicated external hydration access sleeve located behind the backpanel. This allows you to remove and refill the reservoir without needing to unpack the main compartment.
Make sure to use the InsideOut compression straps located on the sides of the pack. These straps can be routed over or through the stretch mesh side pockets to secure contents effectively.
