Talon 22 Daypack - Osprey - Black

The Osprey Talon 22 Daypack is designed for outdoor enthusiasts who need a lightweight, versatile, and comfortable carry solution for fast-paced activities like hiking, trail running, and cycling. Its key advantage lies in its dynamic fit and multi-sport adaptability, ensuring your gear stays secure while you move freely. While exceptionally lightweight and breathable, its 22-liter capacity is best suited for single-day excursions, making it less ideal for multi-day trips requiring extensive gear.

The Talon 22 is made from durable Robic Nylon fabric which offers good water resistance, but it is not fully waterproof. In heavy rain, we recommend using a separate rain cover (sold separately) to protect your gear.
The external hydration sleeve is designed to accommodate most standard hydration reservoirs, typically up to 2-3 liters. (Info needed: [Confirm max reservoir size])
To adjust the torso length, loosen the strap on the micro-adjustable sliding yoke located on the backpanel. Slide the yoke up or down to match your torso length, ensuring the shoulder straps fit comfortably, then retighten the strap.
While the Talon 22 has external compression straps, its 22-liter capacity is primarily designed for day trip essentials. Attaching bulky items like sleeping bags or tents externally might compromise balance and comfort. For such gear, a larger capacity pack is generally recommended.
Spot clean with a soft brush or sponge using mild soap and cool water for minor dirt. For a deeper clean, hand wash in a tub with mild soap and cool water, then rinse thoroughly. Hang upside down in a well-ventilated area to air dry completely. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
The Talon 22 features an AirScape backpanel with an accordion foam design, which provides structure and excellent support without a traditional rigid internal frame, contributing to its lightweight and flexible feel.
Stow-on-the-Go is a unique system that allows you to quickly attach and detach your trekking poles to and from your pack while wearing it. It consists of a bungee cord loop on the shoulder strap and a loop on the lower side of the pack, enabling you to secure your poles without breaking your stride.
Ensure the torso length is correctly adjusted to your body. Check that the hipbelt is securely fastened over your hip bones and the shoulder straps are snug but not digging in. Utilize the compression straps to stabilize the load, especially if the pack is not full.
Make sure to use the external hydration sleeve for easy access. The reservoir should slide into the sleeve and hang from the internal loop. For refilling, you generally won't need to remove the reservoir entirely from the pack; simply pull it out enough to access the fill opening.
For Stow-on-the-Go poles, ensure the lower loop is cinched tightly around the pole tip and the upper bungee loop is pulled taut over the handle. For ice axes, ensure the shaft passes through both loops and the pick/head is oriented correctly and secured against the pack body.
