Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Upon first use, the MacBook Pro will guide you through an initial setup process. This includes selecting your language, connecting to a Wi-Fi network, and signing in with or creating an Apple ID. You can transfer data from an existing Mac or PC using Migration Assistant, which is available within MacOS.
Compatibility:
This MacBook Pro runs on MacOS, ensuring compatibility with the vast ecosystem of Mac applications. It supports up to three external displays, allowing for expanded workspaces. Peripheral compatibility is excellent due to the inclusion of Thunderbolt 5 ports, which support a wide range of accessories, docks, and displays.
Care:
- Cleaning the Display: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a specialized screen cleaner. Avoid spraying cleaner directly onto the screen.
- Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe down the aluminum casing with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Keyboard and Trackpad: Gently clean with a soft cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a compressed air can to remove debris from under the keys.
- Ventilation: Ensure the air vents are not blocked to maintain optimal performance and prevent overheating. Avoid using the device on soft surfaces like blankets for extended periods.
