Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To begin, ensure you have a compatible USB-C power adapter (60W or higher recommended, 70W or 96W for fast charging) and a USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable, which is included. Connect the cable to the MagSafe 3 port on the MacBook Pro and to the power adapter, then plug the adapter into a power outlet. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial macOS setup, including signing in with your Apple ID.
Compatibility: macOS ensures that popular applications like Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud run seamlessly. iPhone Mirroring allows for interaction with your iPhone directly from your Mac, enabling features like copying and pasting between devices and managing Messages and FaceTime calls. The MacBook Pro supports up to two external displays via its Thunderbolt 4 ports.
Care: The Liquid Retina XDR display should be cleaned with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. For the exterior, a slightly damp cloth can be used, ensuring no moisture enters any openings. Keep the device away from extreme temperatures and moisture. Regularly update macOS to benefit from the latest security patches and performance improvements.
