Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Upon receiving your HP OmniBook, ensure it is fully charged before initial power-on. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the Windows setup, including connecting to Wi-Fi and signing into your Microsoft account. The fingerprint reader can be configured during the initial setup or later via Windows security settings.
Compatibility: Running on Windows, this laptop is compatible with a vast range of software and peripherals. Ensure any external devices you connect are compatible with Windows 11 and use appropriate ports. Drivers for onboard components are managed by Windows Update, but HP Support Assistant can be used for additional driver and firmware updates.
Care: To maintain the OLED touchscreen, avoid displaying static images for extended periods to prevent burn-in. Clean the screen with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For the keyboard and chassis, use a slightly damp cloth, ensuring no moisture enters any openings. Store the laptop in a cool, dry place when not in use, and avoid extreme temperatures.
