Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Hoka Bondi 9 trainers perform optimally, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: While comfortable immediately, wear them for shorter periods during the first few days to allow the 3D molded collar and foam to conform to your foot.
- Sizing: Ensure you have selected the appropriate width (such as EEEE for wider feet) to prevent side-wall pressure, as the structural knit upper offers a more locked-in feel than unstructured mesh.
- Cleaning: Remove loose dirt with a soft brush. Hand wash with mild soap and cold water if necessary. Never machine wash or tumble dry, as high heat can damage the midsole foam properties.
- Storage: Keep shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can degrade the rubber outsole and knit integrity over time.
