Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the jacket maintains its technical performance over time, proper maintenance is essential.
- Setup: Adjust the drawstring hem to your preferred tightness to prevent wind ingress. Use the hood tensioning to ensure visibility isn't compromised in heavy rain.
- Compatibility: The jacket is cut for a standard fit, allowing enough room underneath for base layers and a mid-weight sweater or fleece.
- Care: To maintain the water-repellent properties, machine wash the garment at 40 degrees Celsius using a mild detergent. Always ensure all zips are closed before washing. Tumble dry on a low setting to help reactivate the durable water-repellent (DWR) coating. If water stops beading on the surface of the fabric after several washes, apply a specialized DWR re-proofing spray.
