Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: To begin, power on your iPad Pro by pressing and holding the top button. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, region, and connect to a Wi-Fi network. You can set up your iPad manually or use Quick Start with another Apple device. Sign in with your Apple ID to access iCloud, the App Store, and other Apple services.
Compatibility: The iPad Pro runs iPadOS 26, ensuring compatibility with a vast array of apps from the App Store. It supports accessories like the Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard via their respective magnetic or smart connectors. For wired peripherals, utilize the Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port. Ensure any third-party accessories are compatible with iPadOS and the Thunderbolt standard.
Care: Keep the iPad Pro clean and dry. The display features a fingerprint-resistant coating, but can be cleaned with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. For the nano-texture glass, use a specialized cleaning cloth if needed. Protect your device from extreme temperatures; operating temperature is 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F), and storage temperature is -20°C to 45°C (-4°F to 113°F). The device has an IP42 rating, offering protection against dust and water splashes, but should not be submerged.
Charging: Use the included USB-C cable and a compatible power adapter for charging. Fast charging is supported, allowing for up to 50% charge in approximately 30 minutes with a higher wattage adapter (sold separately).
