Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: Upon first powering on, follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, region, and connect to a Wi-Fi network. You will be guided through signing in with your Apple ID or creating a new one. If you have another Apple device nearby, you can use Quick Start to transfer settings and data.
Compatibility: The iPad Pro runs iPadOS 26 and is compatible with all apps available on the App Store. It supports accessories like the Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard via the Smart Connector and Magnetic Connector. Thunderbolt 3 allows for connection to external displays and high-speed storage devices.
Care: Keep the device away from extreme temperatures and moisture. Clean the display and body with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. For the OLED display, avoid displaying static images for extended periods to prevent burn-in. Ensure the device is charged using the included USB-C cable and a compatible power adapter. The battery is designed for longevity but avoid consistently draining it to 0% or charging it to 100% if possible to maximize its lifespan.
