Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup
Your Adidas Adizero Evo SL shoes require minimal setup. Simply unbox, lace them up to your preferred snugness, and you're ready to run. Ensure the lacing feels secure without being overly tight to prevent pressure points during your run.
Compatibility
- Runner Type: These shoes are designed for neutral runners. If you require significant stability or motion control, these might not be the ideal choice for your primary running shoe.
- Surfaces: Optimized for asphalt and mixed terrains (like light gravel or well-maintained paths).
- Socks: Compatible with standard running socks. Consider technical running socks for optimal moisture wicking and blister prevention.
Care & Maintenance
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your Adizero Evo SL shoes:
- Cleaning: Gently remove loose dirt with a soft brush (e.g., an old toothbrush). Hand wash your shoes using a small amount of mild soap (like dish soap) mixed with cold water. Avoid harsh detergents. Use a cloth or soft sponge to clean the upper and sole.
- Rinsing: Rinse thoroughly with cold water to remove all soap residue.
- Drying: Allow your shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not put them in a washing machine or dryer, or dry them near direct heat sources (like radiators or in direct sunlight), as this can damage materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Avoid compressing them for extended periods.
- Odor Control: If odors develop, remove the insoles and let them air out. You can also use shoe deodorizers or a sprinkle of baking soda inside the shoes (shake out before wearing).
