Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup:
Your MacBook Air comes with a USB-C to MagSafe 3 charging cable. To begin charging, connect the MagSafe end to the charging port on your MacBook Air and the USB-C end to a compatible power adapter (30W or higher recommended, sold separately). Power on the device by pressing the power button. Follow the on-screen prompts to set up your Apple ID, Wi-Fi, and other preferences.

This MacBook Air runs on macOS, ensuring compatibility with a vast ecosystem of Mac applications. It integrates seamlessly with other Apple devices, allowing for features like Handoff, Universal Clipboard, and AirDrop. The two Thunderbolt 4 ports support a wide range of accessories, including external displays, storage devices, and docks.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning the Display: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water to clean the screen. Avoid spraying liquid directly onto the display. Do not use window cleaners or aerosol sprays.
- Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe down the aluminum casing with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water.
- Ports: Keep ports free of dust and debris. Use compressed air gently if needed.
- Battery Care: To maintain battery health, avoid exposing the MacBook Air to extreme temperatures. macOS includes features to optimize battery charging.
