Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup:
- Unpack the laptop and connect the AC adapter to charge the battery.
- Press the power button to turn on the device.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the Windows 11 Home setup, including selecting your region, keyboard layout, and connecting to a Wi-Fi network.
- Sign in with your Microsoft account or create a new one.
Compatibility:
The laptop features standard ports including HDMI 1.4b, USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type-A), and USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type-C), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of peripherals, external displays, and storage devices. It supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless device connections.
Care and Maintenance:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or an approved screen cleaner for the display. Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the screen or keyboard. For the keyboard and chassis, a dry microfiber cloth is recommended.
- Ventilation: Ensure the laptop's air vents are not obstructed to maintain optimal operating temperatures. Avoid using the laptop on soft surfaces like blankets or pillows for extended periods.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery health, avoid exposing the laptop to extreme temperatures and consider not keeping it plugged in at 100% charge for excessively long durations if not needed.
- Software Updates: Regularly update Windows and drivers to ensure optimal performance, security, and stability.
