Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup:
- Power On: Connect the AC adapter and press the power button.
- Windows 11 Setup: Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial Windows 11 Home setup, including selecting your region, keyboard layout, and signing in with or creating a Microsoft account.
- Updates: Once set up, connect to Wi-Fi and check for Windows updates to ensure your system is running the latest security patches and feature enhancements.
Compatibility:
The laptop is designed to run Windows 11 Home. It is compatible with most standard USB peripherals (mice, keyboards, external drives) and monitors via HDMI. Ensure any software you intend to install is compatible with Windows 11. The built-in Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 5.0 ensure compatibility with most modern wireless networks and accessories.
Care and Maintenance:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the exterior and screen. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Keyboard: The keyboard is spill-resistant, but avoid direct liquid contact. Clean keys gently with a dry cloth or a soft brush.
- Ventilation: Ensure the laptop's ventilation grilles are kept clear of dust and obstructions to prevent overheating. Avoid using the laptop on soft surfaces like beds or blankets that can block airflow.
- Battery: To prolong battery life, avoid frequent full discharges. Consider adjusting power settings for optimal battery usage when not plugged in.
