Setup
- Connect Peripherals: Connect your monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the appropriate ports on the Mac Mini. Use the HDMI or Thunderbolt 4 ports for your display.
- Power On: Plug in the power cable and press the power button on the back of the Mac Mini.
- Initial Setup: Follow the on-screen prompts to set up macOS, including choosing your language, connecting to Wi-Fi, and creating a user account.
- Software Installation: Install any necessary software or applications from the App Store or other sources.
Compatibility
The Mac Mini is compatible with a wide range of monitors, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals. Ensure your peripherals have the appropriate ports (USB-A, USB-C/Thunderbolt, HDMI) for connectivity.
Care
- Cleaning: Use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth to clean the exterior of the Mac Mini. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Ventilation: Ensure that the Mac Mini has adequate ventilation to prevent overheating. Do not block the vents on the bottom of the device.
- Power: Protect the Mac Mini from power surges by using a surge protector.
