Troubleshooting

Paint is too thick or difficult to apply

Stir thoroughly. If necessary, thin slightly with up to 1 part clean water to 10 parts paint. Ensure application conditions are within the recommended temperature range.

Poor coverage or streaking

Ensure the surface is properly prepared and dry. Apply an additional coat of Dulux Trade Quick Dry Undercoat if needed. Apply the gloss evenly and avoid overworking the paint.

Paint is not drying properly

Check temperature and humidity levels; drying times are dependent on these factors. Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid applying in excessively cold or humid conditions.

Gloss finish appears dull

This can sometimes occur if recoated too soon or in poor drying conditions. Ensure recoat times are adhered to and allow for full drying before assessing the finish.
