Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Your Timberland GREYFIELD Boots are ready to wear right out of the box. Simply lace them up to achieve a comfortable and secure fit. Adjust the laces to ensure your foot is snug without feeling constricted.
- Loosen Laces: Fully loosen the laces to easily slip your foot into the boot.
- Insert Foot: Place your foot inside the boot, ensuring your heel is comfortably seated.
- Tighten Laces: Starting from the bottom eyelets, progressively tighten the laces upwards, ensuring an even tension across your foot and ankle.
- Tie Securely: Finish by tying a secure knot, double-knotting if preferred for extra security during active use.
Compatibility
These boots are designed for adult females with a regular shoe width. The specific product is a UK size 5. They are built to provide comfort and support for a standard foot shape.
Care & Maintenance
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the appearance of your nubuck boots.
- Cleaning Nubuck: Use a dedicated nubuck brush to gently remove dirt and dust. For tougher spots, a nubuck eraser can be used. Avoid using water directly or harsh cleaning agents, as they can stain or damage the nubuck.
- Protection: Consider applying a nubuck protector spray to repel water and stains, helping to preserve the material's finish.
- Drying: If your boots get wet, allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can cause the leather to crack or stiffen.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using boot trees can help maintain their shape.
- Lace Care: Periodically check laces for wear and replace them if they become frayed or damaged.
