The Quicklace™ system is a minimalist, strong lace for one-pull tightening. It allows for easy-on, easy-off, and quick, secure adjustments to your shoe's fit, with a lace pocket to store any excess.
The Salomon XT-6 features a Synthetic & Textile Upper, which is not inherently waterproof. While it offers some protection from splashes, it is not designed to be fully waterproof unless specified with a GORE-TEX or similar membrane (which is not noted in this product description).

Quicklace™ System: To secure your fit, simply pull the end of the `Quicklace™` firmly until the shoe feels snug. Thread the excess lace into the lace pocket located on the tongue to prevent snagging. To loosen, press the release button on the lace lock and pull the laces apart.
