While inspired by ASICS' running heritage (specifically the GEL-KAYANO 14), the Gel-1130 Trainers are primarily designed as lifestyle footwear. They offer comfort for everyday wear and light walking, but for dedicated high-performance running, we recommend ASICS' specialized running shoe lines.

For the uppers, gently wipe with a damp, soft cloth. For tougher marks, use a mild soap solution and air dry completely away from direct heat or sunlight. Avoid machine washing or using harsh chemicals, as this can damage the materials.

The uppers are composed of 50% polyurethane and 50% textile. The lining and cushioning are 100% polyester, and the sole is made of 100% rubber.

ASICS generally aims for consistent sizing. It's recommended to refer to the UK size listed. If you typically wear a specific UK shoe size, these should generally fit true to that. For best results, measure your foot or try them on.

The Gel-1130 Trainers are not waterproof. While they can handle light splashes, prolonged exposure to heavy rain or standing water is not recommended as it can saturate the materials and potentially damage the trainers over time. Always allow them to air dry fully if they get wet.

Clean the trainers regularly using a damp, soft cloth. For scuffs on synthetic leather, a specialized shoe cleaner or a gentle eraser might help. Prompt cleaning prevents dirt from setting in.

Check if the insole is rubbing against the inside of the shoe; removing and reinserting it, or sprinkling a small amount of baby powder underneath, can often resolve this. If the squeak is from the sole, it may be due to moisture; ensure trainers are completely dry.
