Setup, Compatibility & Care
This jacket requires no specific "setup" beyond adjusting it to your preference. Its regular fit is designed to accommodate various body types, and you should take your usual size.
Compatibility: The Antora Jacket is an excellent outer layer compatible with various layering systems. Wear it over a base layer for active pursuits in mild weather, or combine it with a mid-layer (like a fleece or insulated jacket) for added warmth in colder conditions.
Care Instructions:
- Machine Washable: The jacket can be machine washed. Always check the care label inside the garment for specific temperature recommendations. Generally, wash with similar colors.
- Use Mild Detergent: Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners, as these can damage the waterproof coating and fabric integrity.
- Tumble Dry Low: Tumble dry on a low heat setting, or air dry to preserve the DWR finish and fabric. Overheating can damage the jacket.
- Re-apply DWR (If Needed): Over time, the water-repellent finish may wear off. You can restore it using a DWR-restoring spray or wash-in product designed for waterproof breathable fabrics. Follow the product's instructions carefully.
- Do Not Iron or Dry Clean: Ironing can damage the waterproof membrane and DWR finish. Dry cleaning is also not recommended.
- Store Properly: Ensure the jacket is clean and completely dry before storing it in a cool, dry place.
