Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup & Fit
When first trying on your Under Armour Infinite Pro Trail Runners, ensure a comfortable, snug fit without any pinching or excessive pressure points. The die-cut EVA sockliner should cradle your foot immediately. Lace them up using the standard tie laces, ensuring they are tight enough to secure your foot, especially around the midfoot, but not so tight that they restrict circulation. Walk around and perform some light jogging to feel the support and cushioning.
Compatibility
These shoes are designed for neutral runners who require a balance of flexibility and cushioning. They are ideal for various trail surfaces, from technical rocky paths to softer forest trails. The unisex design accommodates a wide range of foot shapes. If you typically overpronate or supinate significantly, you might find other stability-focused or minimalist shoes more suitable.
Care Instructions
To prolong the life and performance of your trail runners:
- Cleaning: After muddy or dusty runs, gently brush off loose dirt. For more thorough cleaning, use a mild soap and cold water with a soft brush or cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or machine washing, as this can damage materials and adhesives.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, which can cause materials to shrink or crack.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Insoles: Remove insoles periodically to air them out, which helps prevent odor and maintain freshness.
- Inspection: Regularly check the outsole for embedded debris (like small rocks) and the upper for any signs of excessive wear or damage.
