This recrafted version of the 2001 original features breathable textiles and impact-absorbing Shox technology. The Nike Sportswear Womens Shox R4 uses Nike's signature Shox technology, a mechanical design made with flexible columns and moderator plates to deliver premium cushioning, absorbing impacts and rebounding. Originally designed to support the stride of runners, Nike Shox columns provide responsive cushioning. The upper is a nearexact replica of the original 2001 Nike Shox with laser perforations throughout for ventilation. A modified, circular waffle outsole provides traction on all surfaces.
