The Adidas SL 72 RS sneaker reimagines the ‘70s track trainer with a re-shaped sole. Still true to its Olympic running roots, the SL 72 has the same serrated sole, except it’s slightly chunkier. Because it’s the SL 72, expect bold colours, retro nylon uppers and suede overlays. The RS upgrade of the adidas SL 72 has the sporting influence and appeal of the OG, and marks the next evolution in the series. Nylon Upper, Suede Overlays, Textile Lining, Lace Closure, EVA Midsole , Rubber Outsole, Product Code: IE6526. These SL 72's come in a slight bit bolder, and a little less streamlined for those of you who require a bit more cladding on your lifestyle-runner. A simple yet stylish archival adidas Original with suede overlays layered atop a sunny yellow nylon upper. Down below, an EVA midsole is implemented to provide plush lightweight cushioning when on the track or the pavements. 3-Stripes get leathered in blue and guard the sidewalls, while Trefoil branding adorns the tongue and heel cap adding a dose of instant brand recognisability. Reshaped with a sawtooth sole raised EVA midsole, the adidas Originals SL 72 RS arrives on our shelves with bright 'Utility Yellow' nylon uppers met by suede detailing around on the toe bumper, heel and eyestays. Blue 3-Stripes make an appearance on the sidewalls matching the heel and tongue branding, while archive branding nods to this updated model's storied history.
