Initial Setup:
Setting up your Surface Pro 12" involves powering it on and following the on-screen Windows 11 Pro setup wizard. This includes connecting to a Wi-Fi network, signing in with your Microsoft account, and configuring Windows Hello for facial recognition login. Ensure you have your Wi-Fi password and Microsoft account credentials ready.
Compatibility:
This Surface Pro runs Windows 11 Pro on an ARM-based Snapdragon® processor. Most modern Windows applications designed for x86 architecture will run through emulation, but performance may vary. It's recommended to verify compatibility for critical legacy software or specialized applications. Native ARM64 applications will offer the best performance.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or screen cleaner to clean the display and casing. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Battery Care: To maximize battery health, avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures and unplug it once fully charged if not needed for extended periods.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use. Use a protective case to prevent scratches and minor impacts.
- Ports: Keep USB Type-C ports free of dust and debris. Use approved chargers and cables for optimal charging performance.
