Care and Maintenance:
To maintain your laptop's performance and longevity:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or an approved screen cleaner to clean the display and exterior. Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the surfaces. Ensure the device is powered off before cleaning.
- Ventilation: Keep the laptop's ventilation ports clear of dust and obstructions to prevent overheating. Avoid using the laptop on soft surfaces like beds or carpets for extended periods.
- Battery Care: Utilize the HP Power Manager to optimize battery settings. Avoid exposing the laptop to extreme temperatures, which can degrade battery health over time.
- Software Updates: Regularly update Windows and HP drivers and software through HP Support Assistant or Windows Update to ensure security patches and performance enhancements are applied.
