FAST FIT AND STYLE FOR THE OPEN ROAD The Savix II W women's road shoe offers the comfortable, supportive fit you'd expect from Giro with the quick adjustment provided by a Boa dial. With a single dial and a set-and-forget front strap, you can quickly get in your shoes and get on the road. The Boa L6 dial offers 1mm adjustment increments when tightening, and a macro-release function to get out of the shoe. The universal 3/2 nylon composite outsole allows you to mount either mountain bike or road cleats depending on your pedal preference. UPPER: Boa L6 (1mm + with macro release) retention with lower-volume strap Synthetic upper OUTSOLE: Nylon composite outsole with universal cleat mount (2- or 3-bolt) Dual injected TPU toe and heel pad FOOTBED: Die-cut EVA footbed WEIGHT: 305 grams (size 39). The Giro Savix range gives flexibility of cleat choice unlike most other cycling shoes on the market. This shoe can go with you from a two bolt to a three bolt and back again (with just the change of cleat) without having to buy a whole new pair of shoes when you change your pedals. Beyond this, there is literal flexibility in the shoe with the sole. Not so stiff that you feel like you should be racing, but not so flexible as a touring shoe, the Savix II hits the middle ground perfectly. The nylon composite sole gives good stiffness with excellent durability with the additional dual injected TPU pads at the heels and toe so they should last you years of walking on cafe floors. The synthetic upper gives great breathability, so much so that in winter you'll want a decent pair of overshoes to keep warm. The BOA dial will keep this shoe at the perfect tightness with a single velcro strap to be sure of taughtness over the balls of your feet. In fact, pairing the BOA and the velcro together, you'll probably never have to adjust the velcro strap at all once you've got it right. The Savix II gives the feel of a much higher end shoe with affordable materials and durability.
