The Captain Flint floor light is a multi-purpose lamp that’s both functional and stylish. Elegant and minimalist, the light combines a modern, metal shade and body with a durable, luxurious marble base. The cone-shaped shade can be angled and rotated on a vertical axis around the lamp’s stem to provide a directional reading light or ambient uplighting to flood whole rooms with illumination. Centring on ideas of balance, the Captain Flint floor light is an equilibrium of practical functionality and modern, sculptural aesthetics. Available in brass and white marble or anthracite and black marble finish. Dimensions: Total height: 153.7 cm - Diffusor: Ø 21 cm - Base: Ø 32 cm - Horizontal rod: L 37.3 cm - Cable: L 260 cm. The designer's inspiration: "I wanted to design a light that had a dual purpose. An up-lighter, illuminating the space with enough ambient lighting, that with a delicate rotation becomes a dim companion for reading. A notion of balance, with a cone resting delicately on its point on a rotating rod."
