Setup, Compatibility & Care
Because this jacket is uninsulated, it is designed to be worn over your preferred layers. To maintain the waterproof capabilities, ensure the zippers are fully closed during heavy rain and keep the shock cords tightened at the hem and hood to prevent drafts. When washing, use a technical gear cleaner rather than standard detergent to preserve the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish. Always air dry the jacket to avoid damaging the synthetic materials and seam tapes with high dryer heat. Periodically check the DryVent surface; if water stops beading on the fabric, it may be time to re-apply a DWR treatment spray.
