Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure optimal performance, break in your Terrex Skychaser shoes on shorter hikes before attempting long-distance summits to allow the material to conform to your foot shape. Compatibility with most trail gaiters is standard for these shoes, which can help prevent debris from entering the collar. To maintain the shoes, remove loose dirt after every hike using a soft brush. If the shoes become muddy, clean them with lukewarm water and a mild soap. Avoid drying them near high-heat sources like radiators or direct fireplaces, as this can degrade the adhesives and compromise the waterproof membrane. Air-dry them in a well-ventilated area with the insoles removed.
