The Valerie Objects Ceiling Lamp No.5 features a minimalist design, comprising a bent lacquered steel tube with a classic glass lampshade. This lamp was created to commemorate Muller Van Severen’s fifth anniversary and is a continuation of their earlier Hanging Lamps and Ceiling Lamps No.1 and No.2, first exhibited in 2011. The original concept was for a home lacking a ceiling light socket, necessitating a wall-mounted solution. The Ceiling Lamp No.5's form, inspired by garlands and serpentines, adds a graceful, flowing line to an interior. When suspended from the ceiling, it has a span of 100cm with a drop of 56cm. This light is ideal for living rooms, dining rooms, studies, or positioned above workspaces, counters, or dining tables. The colored rods are as eye-catching on their own as they are when paired with other Valerie Objects Ceiling, Hanging Wall, or Floor lamps. Available in various vibrant finishes and an industrial antique brass.
