The GP Plus R v4 Airflow Jacket is engineered for maximum ventilation and airflow, featuring extensive race-derived elements like a dedicated 'Sport' fit with pre-curved arms for optimal riding performance and race-proven protection on the shoulders and elbows. It boasts vented shoulders and extensive perforation zones on the chest and sides for superior airflow. The jacket incorporates Alpinestars' composite stretch technology, A-CS® Plus, on the torso for exceptional breathability, comfort, and freedom of movement. A-CS® Plus offers a lighter weight and a lower profile compared to traditional leather accordion panels, being approximately 9% lighter. A key benefit of A-CS® Plus is its enhanced stretch performance, offering about 30% elongation and a 300% increase in tear resistance and a 600% increase in cut resistance over leather. The jacket is constructed from 1.3mm 'Race' grade leather for an optimal balance of abrasion resistance and comfort. Extensive technical stretch panels are integrated under the arms, on the inner arms, and around the neck for a refined fit. It is also Tech-Air® 5 and Tech-Air® 3 Ready, featuring stretch panels under and on the inner arms for an optimized sport fit, and a stretch, soft-feel, ergonomic collar for enhanced rider comfort.
