Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Hoka Challenger 8 arrives ready to wear. Ensure they fit snugly but comfortably, with no heel slippage or excessive pressure points. The lacing system allows for a customized fit across the instep and forefoot.
Compatibility: These trainers are designed for a neutral gait and are compatible with most running styles. They are suitable for a wide range of terrains including roads, gravel paths, and moderate trails. They are not designed for highly technical or muddy off-road conditions where aggressive lug depth is required.
Care: To maintain the performance and longevity of your Challenger 8s:
- Cleaning: After runs, use a soft brush to remove loose dirt and debris from the outsole and upper. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid machine washing or harsh detergents, as these can damage the materials.
- Drying: Allow the shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in direct sunlight, as this can degrade the foam and adhesives.
- Storage: Store your trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Proper storage helps maintain the integrity of the cushioning and materials.
