Ronseal One Coat Everywhere paint makes decorating your whole home easier and quicker. It will give rich colour and tough protection to walls, ceilings and pretty much anything else you want to paint. It is stain resistant and washable, ready to stand up to the challenges of every day life. This product covers 25 square meters per litre, needs 1 coat, can be applied with a brush or roller, is dry to touch in 1 hour and if needed can be recoated in 1 hour. For previously painted walls: Sand off any loose or flaking paint. Then give the walls a wipe with a damp cloth. If painting over a very bold or contrasting colour, use a basecoat first. Or you may need to put on an extra coat. For bare plaster: If you have had your walls and ceilings re-plastered, let it dry for 7 days before painting. You will then need to seal the plaster. Use a basecoat or a plaster sealer for this. For bare and previously painted wood: Give the wood a light sand with 120 grit sandpaper, then wipe away the dust with a damp cloth. Fill any holes and cracks and treat any knots. For bare and painted metal: Sand of any loose and flaking paint, then wipe away the dust with a damp cloth. If you are painting ferrous metals, like steel or cast iron, you will need to use a specialist metal primer first. Give your paint a good stir. If you have got more than one tine of the same colour, mix them together. This will ensure the colour is consistent. Get lots of paint on your roller or brush. Always work from dry to wet areas. Do not spread the paint too thin. Extra coats may be needed when trying to cover bold or contrasting colours. It will be touch dry in 1 hour. If the second coat is needed wait 2-4 hours. Do not thin this paint.
