Care and Maintenance:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and exterior. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. For the keyboard, a can of compressed air can help remove dust and debris.
- Ventilation: Ensure the laptop's ventilation ports are not blocked to prevent overheating. Avoid using the laptop on soft surfaces like beds or carpets for extended periods.
- Battery Care: To maximize battery lifespan, avoid constant deep discharges or keeping the battery at 100% charge for extremely long durations when plugged in. Lenovo's Vantage software may offer battery health management options.
- Software Updates: Regularly update Windows and install drivers from Lenovo's support website to ensure optimal performance and security.
