For serious, technical trail running, Salomon offers other specialized models like the XT-6 or Speedcross series which are optimized for extreme conditions.
The Quicklace™ system generally requires minimal cleaning. If it becomes dirty, wipe the lace and toggle with a damp cloth. Avoid submerging the system in water or using harsh chemicals, which could damage the mechanism.
The Salomon XT-WHISPER VOID is designed specifically for the Quicklace™ system, and changing to traditional laces is not recommended as it may affect the shoe's intended fit and performance, especially with the SensiFIT™ integration. Replacement Quicklace™ kits are available if needed.
