Different types of coffee require different types of coffee bean to ensure the best taste and flavour. The Melitta CI Touch has a two-chamber bean container that provides storage for two different types of coffee bean. You can manually select the chamber from which you wish to make your coffee from. To preserve the freshness and flavour of the coffee beans the tinted container has an Aromasafe lid. An integrated ground coffee chute is provided for pre-ground coffee. PRO AQUA FILTER. With a Melitta Pro Aqua Filter you will only need to descale your coffee machine once a year. The filtered water also improves the flavour and quality of your coffee. MY COFFEE MEMORY. Tailor the way you like your coffee and save it as a profile. You'll have coffee the way you like it at the touch of a button. The Melitta CI Touch can store up to four profiles. EASY TO USE. The Melitta CI Touch bean to cup coffee machine is easy to operate thanks to its innovative touch surface and high-resolution TFT colour display that provides you with clear instructions. OTHER FEATURES - DOUBLE CUP MODE - Make two cups of coffee simultaneously, with or without milk. ALL-IN-ONE OUTLET - The height adjustable outlet features integrated LED lighting and houses the milk, coffee and water nozzles, so there's no need to move your cup whilst your coffee is being made. REMOVABLE BREWING UNIT - The brewing unit in the Melitta CI Touch coffee machine is removable and easy to clean. This also enables the inside of the coffee machine to be cleaned. AUTOMATIC CLEANING AND DESCALING - The Melitta CI Touch coffee machine will alert you when cleaning or descaling is required and also provides step-by-step instructions guiding you through the process. PLUG-IN MILK SYSTEM - The removable milk system has an external milk container which is dishwasher safe and designed to fit in your fridge. Parts that come into contact with milk can be quickly and hygienically cleaned using a combination of hot water and steam. ENERGY SAVING FEATURES - To reduce energy consumption the 0-watt switch allows you to turn off the Melitta CI Touch completely at any time. A programmable energy-saving mode and adjustable auto switch-off feature further enhance this coffee machine's eco credentials. MELITTA CI TOUCH SPECIFICATIONS. The Melitta CI Touch bean to cup coffee machine produces 15-bar of pressure and uses a Thermoblock heating system for the perfect pressure and water temperature.
