Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting started with your UA Infinite Pro Trail Runners is straightforward:
- Lacing: Utilize the standard tie laces to achieve a snug, comfortable fit. Experiment with different lacing techniques if you experience pressure points or heel slippage. Ensure laces are tied securely to prevent untying during your run.
- Initial Wear: Wear the shoes for short periods initially to allow them to conform to your feet. While comfortable out of the box, a short break-in period can enhance overall fit and feel.
Compatibility
These trail runners are specifically designed for:
- Neutral Runners: Ideal for individuals whose feet do not excessively pronate or supinate, seeking a balanced blend of cushioning and flexibility.
- Trail Surfaces: Best suited for varied off-road terrains including dirt paths, gravel, rocky trails, and muddy conditions.
Care
Proper care extends the life and performance of your trail runners:
- Cleaning: After each use, especially if muddy or dirty, gently brush off loose dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a soft brush or cloth with mild soap and cold water. Avoid harsh detergents or machine washing, as these can damage materials and adhesives.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can cause materials to crack or shrink. You can stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Ensure they are completely dry before storing to prevent odor and mildew.
- Inspection: Regularly check the outsole for embedded debris (like small stones) that could affect grip. Inspect the upper for any signs of wear or damage that might require attention.
