This design s upper was inspired by European gothic armor and it s structural, metallic properties. Meanwhile, its open mesh underlays help improve airflow to keep feet cool. The midsole features the same tooling system from the GEL-NIMBUS 17 shoe. It was originally engineered for comfort during the duration of marathons, featuring dual GEL technology inserts and a FLUIDRIDE cushioning structure.
