Originally developed for the lounge bar at BIG’s headquarters, this stool evolves the iconic visual language of the Aluminium Chair into a versatile, high-seated silhouette. Crafted from powder-coated aluminium and finished with a high-gloss lacquered seat, it represents Muller Van Severen''s unique philosophy where colour is treated as a primary design material rather than a mere decorative finish. Designed for both indoor and outdoor utility, the Valerie Objects Breakfast Bar Stool is lightweight yet exceptionally durable. Its raw aluminium structure is protected with beeswax and a UV-resistant lacquer, ensuring the vibrant surface remains shielded from sun, rain, and wind. With its compact 35cm x 35cm footprint and a seat height of 65cm, it is perfectly proportioned for kitchen islands and breakfast bars. Its formal sobriety allows it to function not just as a seat, but as a small, sturdy side table, making it a highly practical addition to a modern home or terrace. Available in a palette of ivory, green, pink, and raw aluminium, the stool encourages a playful "mix and match" approach to interior styling. The stool originated from their joint design of the lounge bar at BIG’s headquarters. The result is an intriguing fusion of Ingels’ geometric style and the recognizable alu chair.
