Using your Trespass Daytrip Jacket is straightforward:
- Donning the Jacket: Simply put on the jacket over your clothing.
- Zip Up: Secure the main zipper fully to ensure complete weather protection.
- Adjust Fit: Utilize the back hem ties to adjust the tightness around your waist for optimal comfort and to prevent drafts. The elastic cuffs will naturally provide a snug fit around your wrists.
- Engage Hood: If rain starts, pull up the grown own hood for immediate head and neck protection.
- Secure Pockets: Place any essentials in the 2 zip pockets and ensure they are fully zipped closed to protect contents from moisture.
Compatibility
This jacket is designed for general adult wear and is compatible with various layering options. Its lightweight nature makes it suitable for wearing over t-shirts, light sweaters, or fleeces, depending on the temperature. It pairs well with outdoor trousers or everyday attire for casual and active use.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your waterproof jacket:
- Washing: Refer to the garment's care label for specific washing instructions. Generally, waterproof jackets should be washed with a technical wash designed for waterproof fabrics, avoiding conventional detergents that can strip the water-repellent coating. Wash on a gentle cycle with cold water.
- Drying: Do not tumble dry unless specified on the care label. Air dry the jacket away from direct heat. Some waterproof jackets benefit from a low-heat tumble dry to reactivate the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, but always check the label first.
- Ironing: Do not iron, as high heat can damage the waterproof membrane.
- Storage: Store the jacket in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight.
- Avoid Softeners: Do not use fabric softeners, as they can impair the jacket's waterproofing.
