Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup:
- Unpack the laptop and the 65W AC adapter.
- Connect the AC adapter to the laptop's DC-in jack and plug it into a power outlet.
- Press the power button to turn on the laptop. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the Windows 11 Pro setup.
- Connect to your Wi-Fi network using the Wi-Fi 6 capabilities.
Compatibility:
The laptop supports a wide range of peripherals via its HDMI, USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports. It is compatible with most standard USB devices, external monitors, and other accessories. The integrated card reader supports SD, SDHC, and SDXC formats.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior and screen with a soft, dry, or slightly damp microfiber cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Ventilation: Ensure the laptop's vents are not blocked to maintain optimal operating temperatures. Avoid placing it on soft surfaces like beds or carpets for extended periods.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid keeping the battery at 0% or 100% for extended durations when plugged in. Utilize the `Express Charge Boost` capability for faster charging when needed.
- Keyboard Maintenance: Regularly dust the keyboard. For spills, immediately power off the device and disconnect the AC adapter, then seek professional assistance.
