A striking vision initially brewed up back in 1999, PUMA's Mostro has been resurrected for 2025. This revamp is constructed from a porous mesh upper that's dashed with suede and ribboned together with a leather Formstrip. Underfoot, OrthoLite sockliners are underpinned by its trademark futuristic spiked rubber outsole. PUMA's Mostro is a sleek and futuristic footwear design, inspired by the brand's rich history in motorsport and athletics, featuring a distinctive zig-zag closure system and minimalist aesthetic that revolutionised the sneaker world when the original low-cut model debuted in the '90s. This white mesh edition features tonal Formstrips and suede accents, while further down we see the famed rubber-spiked outsole. First released in 1999, the Mostro has become one of PUMA's best-selling shoes ever. Affectionally named after the Italian word for "monster", it was originally inspired by two sports shoes – a sprinting spike from 1968 and a surfing shoe from the 80s. This latest version has a somewhat more aggressive look with slightly longer spikes and a summer-ready open mesh upper.
