Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up your workstation requires a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation to ensure airflow through the tower chassis.
- Placement: Place the unit vertically in a well-ventilated area, avoiding tight enclosures that could block the cooling intake and exhaust.
- Network Connection: Since the system does not include an internal wireless card, ensure you have a CAT6 or better Ethernet cable to connect to your 10/100/1000 Mbit/s network port.
- Peripherals: Utilize the rear USB 3.2 ports for high-bandwidth devices like external storage arrays, reserving the front-facing ports for easy access to flash drives or headset connections.
- Care: Keep the system dust-free to maintain optimal cooling performance. You can clean the chassis exterior with a dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals. Ensure all firmware, especially for the Intel chipset and TPM module, is updated periodically through the Windows update service to maintain security and compatibility.
