The Hyde XT Drystar®XF Jacket is engineered for the demanding off-road and dual-sport adventure touring categories. It features an exceptionally lightweight, four-way stretch, single-layer waterproof outer shell, with ripstop nylon reinforcements on the outer arms and shoulders for enhanced durability. The jacket incorporates a laminated Drystar®XF waterproof and highly breathable membrane, ensuring excellent performance in wet conditions. This membrane prevents water penetration, keeping the jacket lightweight and protecting the rider from the elements and windchill, while allowing the fabric to breathe. For climate adaptability, the Hyde XT includes long direct ventilation ports on the front and back, zippered air scoops on the forearms, and a Super-airflow panel on the front zipper for superior ventilation in warmer weather. Inside, a detachable armored mesh jacket with Nucleon Flex Plus CE Level 1 armor is integrated. Designed with off-road riding in mind, this inner jacket keeps the armor close to the body for optimal comfort and protection, preventing restriction of movement. The inner jacket is upgradeable to Level 2 Nucleon Flex Pro armor and is Tech-Air® Ready for Tech-Air® 5 or future Tech-Air® OFF-ROAD systems for maximum rider safety. The versatile Hyde XT Drystar®XF also functions as a casual garment or daily commuter jacket when the inner armored mesh jacket is removed. The product is CE certified for motorcycle apparel, meeting EN 17092-5:2020 Class B standards, with CE Level 1 Nucleon Flex Plus impact protection (EN 17092-6:2020 Class C) in the inner jacket, which can be upgraded to Level 2 armor. Chest and back protector inserts can also be added.
