This model has a narrow, tapered cut with a narrow leg opening. Lean Dean in stretchy, comfortable selvage denim, black and dry. Weighing in at 12.75 oz, the denim is nicely paired with the Dean's slim fit. The starch in the denim gives it its crisp appearance and generates pronounced creases on the jeans when worn, creating contrasting whiskers and honeycombs. The denim is woven on old-school shuttle looms with yarns that have been dyed. The shuttle looms interweave the threads into the selvage denim, and the dyeing of the yarn maintains the core of the white threads, allowing the weave to fade beautifully. This slow process reflects the way denim was made in the past. The finished denim has a light structure twill that is nicely balanced by a slight fuzziness that will accentuate with wear and washing.
