Setup:
This laptop is delivered without an operating system. To set it up, you will need a bootable USB drive with your preferred operating system (e.g., Windows, Linux).
- Insert the bootable USB drive into a USB port.
- Power on the laptop and immediately press the appropriate key (often F2, F10, F12, or DEL) to enter the BIOS/UEFI settings.
- Configure the boot order to prioritize the USB drive.
- Save changes and exit BIOS. The laptop will restart and boot from the USB drive, initiating the OS installation process.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to install your operating system and drivers.
Compatibility:
- Storage: Supports NVMe M.2 SSDs. It features one M.2 slot populated with a 1 TB SSD and one additional SO-DIMM slot for RAM upgrades.
- Ports: Includes USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A (x2), USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C (with Power Delivery and charging support, x1), HDMI 1.4 (x1), and a headphone/microphone combo jack.
- Wireless: Compatible with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) networks and Bluetooth 5.2 devices.
- Peripherals: Can connect to external monitors via HDMI, and various USB devices like keyboards, mice, and external drives.
Care:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth, slightly dampened with water or an approved electronics cleaner, to wipe down the screen and exterior. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Ensure the laptop is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Ventilation: Keep the laptop's vents clear of dust and obstructions. Avoid using the laptop on soft surfaces like beds or pillows that can block airflow, which can lead to overheating.
- Battery: To maintain battery health, avoid leaving the laptop plugged in at 100% charge for extended periods if possible. Consider utilizing battery management software if available in your installed OS.
- Storage Environment: Store the laptop within the recommended temperature range of 5-43°C (41-109°F) and humidity levels of 5-95%.
