Place two HomePod speakers in the same room and you’ll be asked if you want to pair them up.
While you can stream audio via AirPlay, full functionality, including setup and Siri, requires an Apple device.
Use Siri voice commands, such as "Hey Siri, turn on the lights," provided your accessories are HomeKit compatible.
HomePod software updates are automatic. You can check for updates in the Home app.
HomePod works with Apple Music, and other third-party music apps via AirPlay.
Unplug the HomePod, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Wait for the light on top to turn white, then press and hold your finger on the top of the HomePod. Siri will say HomePod is resetting. Keep your finger on the top of the HomePod until you hear three beeps, then release.
Check the power connection and ensure the HomePod is turned on. Restart the HomePod by unplugging it, waiting 30 seconds, and plugging it back in.
Ensure the HomePod is placed in an optimal location, away from walls. Check your Wi-Fi connection and make sure it's stable. Also, try adjusting the volume.
Ensure Siri is enabled in the Home app and that the HomePod has an internet connection. Try restarting the HomePod. Also, check your internet connection.
