Initial Setup:
To set up your iPhone Air, power it on by pressing and holding the side button. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, region, and Wi-Fi network. You will be guided through setting up your Apple ID, Face ID (if applicable), and transferring data from a previous device or restoring from a backup.
SIM Card Setup:
This iPhone Air utilizes eSIM technology. To activate cellular service, you'll need to scan a QR code provided by your carrier or enter their details manually within the Cellular settings on your iPhone. Ensure your carrier supports eSIM functionality.
Compatibility:
- Operating Systems: Compatible with Mac OS X 10.13 High Sierra and later, and Windows 10 and later. It also supports direct connection and data transfer with other iOS devices.
- Accessories: Works with USB Type-C accessories, Bluetooth 6.0 devices, and wireless chargers up to 20W. Use only certified Apple accessories for optimal performance and safety.
Care and Maintenance:
- Cleaning: Wipe the iPhone Air with a soft, lint-free cloth. For tougher smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. The device is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance, but this protection may decrease over time.
- Screen Protection: The Ceramic Shield 2 front offers enhanced durability. Consider a screen protector for additional defense against scratches.
- Battery Health: To maintain optimal battery health, avoid extreme temperatures (operating range: 0°C to 35°C / 32°F to 95°F) and enable Optimized Battery Charging in settings.
- Storage: Store the iPhone Air in a dry environment between -20°C to 45°C (-4°F to 113°F) when not in use for extended periods.
