Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the air fryer from its packaging, along with all accessories.
- Clean: Before first use, wipe the interior and exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Wash the detachable basket and crisper plate with warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, heat-resistant, flat surface, ensuring there is ample space (at least 10 cm / 4 inches) around the back and sides for proper ventilation.
- Initial Run (Optional but Recommended): To eliminate any manufacturing odors, plug in the air fryer and run it empty for about 10 minutes at a medium temperature (e.g., 180°C). Ensure good ventilation during this process. A slight odor or light smoke is normal during the first use.
Compatibility
The PureMate Digital Air Fryer is designed for use with standard household electrical outlets. Ensure your power supply matches the voltage specified on the appliance's rating label (Info needed: specific voltage/wattage if available, otherwise assume standard).
Care and Maintenance
- Daily Cleaning: After each use, allow the appliance to cool down completely. Remove the detachable basket and wash it with warm water, mild dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. It is recommended to hand wash to prolong the non-stick coating's life.
- Wipe Exterior: Clean the exterior of the air fryer with a soft, damp cloth. Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
- Interior Cleaning: Use a damp cloth to wipe the interior heating element and chamber. For stubborn residue, a soft brush can be used.
- Storage: Ensure the appliance is clean and dry before storing. Store it in a cool, dry place.
