Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper setup and maintenance ensure your Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer operates safely and efficiently for years to come.
Initial Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials, including any protective film or stickers.
- Clean: Before first use, wash the cooking drawers and crisper plates in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth.
- Placement: Place the unit on a stable, heat-resistant surface, ensuring adequate space (at least 15 cm) around the appliance for proper ventilation during operation. Do not place it against a wall or under cabinets that could be damaged by steam.
- Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
Compatibility
- Accessories: Use only Ninja-approved accessories. Never use metal utensils or abrasive cleaning pads that could damage the non-stick coating of the drawers and crisper plates.
- Food: This appliance is designed for cooking a wide range of foods, from fresh vegetables and meats to frozen items. Always refer to a cooking guide or recipe for appropriate temperatures and times.
Care and Maintenance
- Daily Cleaning: After each use, allow the unit to cool completely. Wash the cooking drawers and crisper plates with warm, soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge or cloth. They are generally dishwasher-safe, but handwashing extends their lifespan.
- Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a clean, damp cloth. Never immerse the main unit or its power cord in water or any other liquid.
- Crisper Plate: Ensure food debris is regularly removed from the crisper plates to maintain optimal airflow.
- Storage: Store the appliance in a cool, dry place once it's clean and completely dry. Ensure the drawers are securely inserted.
