The Valerie Objects Ceiling Lamp No.5 features a minimalist design, comprising a bent lacquered steel tube with an archetypal glass lampshade at the end. Originally created to celebrate Muller Van Severen’s fifth anniversary, this lamp is a continuation of their earlier lamp designs, first showcased in 2011. This lamp was conceived for older homes lacking ceiling sockets, addressing the need for wall-mounted lighting. The Ceiling Lamp No.5's form is inspired by garlands and serpentines, adding a playful, flowing line to an interior. When suspended from the ceiling, it has a span of 100cm and a drop of 56cm. It is ideal for living rooms, dining rooms, studies, or positioned above workspaces, counters, or dining tables. The available colourful rods are striking individually or when combined with other Valerie Objects lamps. It comes in several vibrant finishes and an industrial antique brass option.
